Kachumber Salad

​

I like to serve this refreshing salad with tandoori chicken, lamb, shrimp or any grilled meats and seafood.

Kachumber Salad Recipe

 

 

Ingredients

  • 1 red onion (small dice)

  • 4 large tomatoes (de-seeded and small dice)

  • 1 Large English cucumber (peeled, de-seeded and small dice)

  • 2 tbsn cumin seeds (dry toasted)

  • 2 tspn nigella seeds (dry toasted)

  • 1 lime (juice and zest)

  • ¼ Cup Chopped Cilantro Leaf

  • Salt & black pepper.

     

​Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl, toss well to combine, cover with cling film/plastic wrap and chill for one hour.
